The BMW K 1600 GTL concept motorcycle is host to the latest in laser illumination — specifically designed for future motorcycle safety. The technology, borrowed from BMW’s 7-Series and i8 counterparts, shoots bright-white light, making the most of the small space available on a motorcycle. BMW doesn’t plan on sending these into mass production just yet, but it’s expected that laser lighting will be more prevalent on motorcycles before it’s seen on entry-level cars.
